What is homeopathy?
Homeopathy is a complete system of medicine which treats mental, emotional and physical illnesses. This holistic therapeutic system is based on the principle that ‘like treats like’. Homeopaths use specially prepared, highly diluted substances, given mainly in pills, tablets or liquid form.

Finding your individual medicine
In order to find a homeopathic remedy that matches you and your symptoms as precisely as possible, a homeopath needs to get a thorough understanding of the exact symptoms you are experiencing. During a confidential, in-depth consultation, your homeopath will consider all aspects of your health and wellbeing including your past medical history, diet, lifestyle and personality type, as well as your current health problems. Prescriptions are tailored to each individual patient, according to their specific symptoms

Treatment timelines
The first consultation usually lasts for an hour, whilst follow up appointments may be shorter. If you have a long standing chronic condition, a course of treatment may be needed. As a guideline, you can typically expect to see a homeopath once a month for 3-6 months. If further treatment is needed beyond this stage you may find that follow-ups are scheduled at progressively longer intervals. However, since homeopathy focuses on the individual, each case will require an individualised treatment strategy.

Scientific Research
In mainstream medicine, the established benchmark for evaluating the efficacy of a treatment is the randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial. While this approach proves valuable in assessing standard pharmaceutical interventions for specific conditions, it may not be the most suitable method for evaluating the effectiveness of homeopathy, which is highly personalized. In reality, each individual possesses unique strengths, vulnerabilities, and susceptibilities, necessitating a customized treatment approach.
There exists a significant body of evidence from clinical trials supporting the efficacy of homeopathy, aligning with the experiences of homeopathic practitioners over the past two centuries.
Dr. Luc Montagnier, the distinguished French Virologist and Nobel Prize laureate of 2013, expressed in an interview published in Science Magazine on December 24, 2013: "The high dilutions used in homeopathy are correct. High dilutions of something are not nothing. They are water structures that mimic the original molecules."
